Who we are

MARDAG was founded in 1988 by the van Rijssel family. Their vision was to build a reputable company and introduce Europe’s leading electrical products to the New Zealand market.

An exclusive trading agreement was signed with a German manufacturer in 1992, which became the first of many contracts with global suppliers. Since then, MARDAG has introduced some of Europe’s finest electrical products to the New Zealand market and brought a wealth of technical skills and experience to the industry.

MARDAG continues to be family owned and operated. Representing over 35 European manufacturers and delivering innovative electrical products and technical support to Kiwi businesses.

Aaron joins MARDAG with over 30 years experience in the electrical industry. With his wealth of knowledge as a qualified electrician, specialising in the industrial sector, Aaron is here to assist you with project and technical enquiries.

Rebekah Procter

Logistics & Operations Manager

With over 25 years of experience in service delivery and customer service, Rebekah oversees MARDAG’s Logistics & Operations.  She is a key contact for product availability, order enquiries, and general business and account enquiries.

Carmel Levy

Accounts & Office Manager

Bringing with her years of business experience, Carmel is responsible for the day to day running of our accounts and office administration.  If you have any enquiries regarding payables or receivables, Carmel will be happy to help you.

Anna van Rijssel

Warehouse Store Person 

Anna works part time in our Warehouse team. Anna’s administrative and organisation skills assist us with stock control, marking/printing and general warehouse duties.

Glen Procter

With over 25 years of customer service and stock management experience, Glen is part of our Warehouse team working to ensure your orders are fulfilled and dispatched in a timely manner.

Logan is working part time at MARDAG whilst at college. Logan assists our team with general warehouse duties.
